Early Church Life and Anbiyam Today
The life of the early Church provides a model for the spiritual and communal foundation of Anbiyam. Two key aspects that defined the early Christian community continue to inspire and shape Anbiyam today:
Religious Life
The early Church thrived on prayer, worship, and Christ's teachings, gathering to share the Word and grow in faith. Similarly, Anbiyam fosters a Christ-centered life of devotion, prayer, and living the Gospel daily.
Social Life
The early Christian community was defined by fellowship, mutual care, and resource sharing. Anbiyam continues this tradition by fostering compassionate communities where members support one another.
Religious Life
Religious life is a sacred journey of faith, commitment, and service to God and humanity. It involves dedicating one’s life to spiritual growth, prayer, and living in harmony with the teachings of one’s faith. Individuals embracing religious life often follow a structured path guided by a set of values, vows, or disciplines, such as poverty, chastity, and obedience.
The four stages of the religious life of believers;
Prayer
According to the custom of the Jews, go to the synagogues and pray. History says that there were more than 300 chapels and prayers were held thrice daily. In this prayer, the word of God and its commentary were included. Thus, such prayer should have a special place in our loved ones.
Teaching
Jesus' teachings are called "Didache". The center of this was Jesus' suffering. died It means resurrected. According to this teaching, the purpose of teaching is to resist the aggressive power of today's society and to help people adhere to the values of theocracy such as truth, love, equality and brotherhood, which are necessary to establish justice.
Sharing
In the Jewish culture of that time, it was customary for everyone to gather in one place and share a meal. This is the birthplace of love. And love invites us to forget the inequalities between us and share and live across caste, religion and language.
Friendship
Caste Communicating with friends over religion is the method Jesus used to convey the message of "Jesus is the Messiah" by having a relationship with the Samaritan woman. This is the work of love. The performance of this Chamamari woman teaches us the aspects necessary to create love.
Social Life

Identifying Needs
It was complained that the Greek handmaids who suffered in the young church were not being looked after. A 7-member committee was constituted to complete the complaint. We should also try to find those in need in our area and help them through love.
Helping the Poor
It is necessary to know the needs of the poor and help them. In this way St. Paul Adigar says that he also constantly worked to improve the lives of the poor. In this way, through our charity, we will identify the needs of the poor and needy people in the area we live in and try to help as much as we can so that their lives are improved, their rights are protected and their dignity is respected.
Generosity
Joseph of Cyprus shared all he had with contentment. He sold his land and brought the money and laid it at the feet of the apostles (D. P. 4: 37). In this way we share what we have with others, loving life calls us.
Positive Effects
Recovery is not just about the individual. When one is redeemed, the group is redeemed. And a community survives. The unjust regime, patriarchal system of government, low wages, etc. seen in the society
